Agreed. That’s why I went a little different with mine. Gotta keep it fresh haha

I think they were trying to copy The Mando naming convention.
Thank the maker. Looks amazing. Cannot wait for the trilogy to be completed.
And cannot wait for that HD remake of ANH to replaced my upscaled DVD version 😉
Season 2 was about 60% filler, jus sayin
Please define filler for me?
Because nowadays it seems like a blanket term people use to apply to a show that they pretend that they like even though they only like the first, middle, and last episode of that show.
Lol… filler?
Can we drop that term please? This show is one of the most consistently written and fun Star Wars shows ever produced.
Since Disney was uber lazy with this series and just went with "Part 1, Part 2, etc.
What would you name the episodes?
EDIT: I got bored today and came up with…
It’s close, but not perfect just yet. It just isn’t flowing for some reason I don’t know why. How about?
“She was quick to learn in our training. But Leia feared the darkness that haunted our father. She surrendered her saber to me and chose to continue our mother’s compassionate work across the galaxy. Throughout her life, Leia lost everything, but she still chose love. A thousand generations live in you now. Let Leia’s legacy be your guide."
The current version clearly states WHY Leia decides to stop the Jedi Path, we are missing that in this new take.
And if you need it shorter to fit:
“She was quick to learn in our training. But Leia feared the darkness that haunted our father. She surrendered her saber to me and chose to continue our mother’s path. Throughout her life, Leia lost everything, but she still chose love. A thousand generations live in you now. Let Leia’s legacy be your guide."
Luke: “She was quick to learn in our training. But Leia feared the hatred that turned our father, she knew she could better serve the galaxy with compassion, as our mother once did. Throughout it all, Leia lost everything, and everyone, but she always chose love. A thousand generations live in you now. Rey, let Leia’s legacy be your guide through the darkness.
Good points!
“But Leia feared giving in to hatred like our father, choosing instead to follow our mother’s path. Leia lost so much in her life, but despite all of it, she always chose to love.”
She didn’t lose everyone. She still had the Rey and Resistance and Chewie, etc. haha. I reworded slightly to sound more natural, at least to me!
Quick fix…?
"She was quick to learn in our training. But Leia felt she could better serve the galaxy through diplomacy, as our mother once did.
Our father’s past troubled Leia too, but she knew that choosing to love would always overpower any darkness.
A thousand generations live in you now. We’ll always be with you, but this is your fight."
How about this?
Second line:
Third line:
I do think that line sounds a lot more convincing this go around and does sound like something that could have been included in the original cut. “Ben, come home.” says a lot more than just “Ben”.
I think it would work great as Kylo was just saying before that neither of them could go back to Leia now, and for Leia to just prove him so blatantly wrong is enough for him to be in shock, “My mom still loves me after everything I’ve done?”. It also makes his discussion with Han about honoring what Leia fought for even stronger.
I think these ideas are starting to stray too far and should probably be in a different thread.
V4 was meant to be an end for the edit, and I thought a potential V5 would be some small audio tweaks or visual improvements, not widespread story changes…
I do like the thought of Rey trying to talk to the past Jedi and failing, and then having Kylo not wanting to talk to Luke but he can.
Think that helps a little with Rey’s mental state being a problem as to why she can’t, but then when she goes all in and commits to being a Jedi, she can.
Surprise, surprise…
Upcoming Rey ‘Star Wars’ Movie Delayed Indefinitely

I’d agree, this change is major enough for it to be it’s own edit. If anything, some minor dialogue changes could help a V5. But what is in V4 stands on its own.
wait i am confused
lucas film will make a mandalorian season 4 and also a movie and the movie will be 2h season finale of season 4 ? its that right ?
From the leaks, that is what it seems, but nothing confirmed…
Ugh…
Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 4 rumored to have 6 episodes, The Mandalorian and Grogu film acts as the season finale
“One of the concepts has come out of this, count this as a rumour for now, is that the plan was to do six episodes of Mando [season four] and to take the finale, what would’ve been the finale, the big two parter, from the end of that and that’s being developed into the film [The Mandalorian and Grogu].” – MakingStarWars
According to Deadline, it seems Season 4 is still in development in addition to the news today:
https://deadline.com/2024/01/mandalorian-grogu-movie-jon-favreau-lucasfilm-1235700326/
“It’s not yet been confirmed whether Pascal will reprise his role as the Mandalorian for the new film. At present, a fourth season of his hit series is also in development.”
Now that they are making the move to the big screen… does this mean “The Mandalorian” show ends its run with 3 seasons?
The Mandalorian and Grogu are embarking on a new adventure — to movie theaters.
Directed by Jon Favreau, and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni, The Mandalorian & Grogu will go into production in 2024.
“I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created,” said Favreau. “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”
“Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have ushered into Star Wars two new and beloved characters, and this new story is a perfect fit for the big screen,” added Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm.
The Mandalorian & Grogu will lead Lucasfilm’s ongoing feature-development slate, including films helmed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, and Dave Filoni, who is also currently developing Ahsoka Season 2, among those in the works.
This is the Way.
Male suicide ratio is a problem created by the patriarchy due to unrealistic expectations of masculinity. Even then, it’s been completely co-opted by the right wing to suppress women and empower incels to hurt women.
79% of suicides in 2022 were committed by males.

Your rhetoric is not only dangerous but downright insulting to anyone struggling with mental health issues. It is so irritating to see this constantly swept under the rug like it is a political talking point. PEOPLE ARE DYING.
Directors can and should focus on making movies that are aimed at a certain group WITHOUT feeling the need to put down another group. The whole “Us vs. Them” mentality causes nothing but problems, that inspires hatred more than anything else.
Yes, there are angry incels that won’t see the movie because the director is a woman.
Yes, there are people that are gonna praise this movie because the director is a woman, even if the movie is terrible.
However, we are getting more Star Wars, and nothing has to be required viewing. If you don’t want to watch it, don’t! If you do want to watch it, please do! Disney doesn’t decide canon, you do.
Hopefully it’s great! Daisy is an awesome actress that needs some better writing for her movies, hopefully Sharmeen can provide that.
I think both the woke and anti-woke are silly. The more Americans are against each other the less they are against the larger corporations and shady government officials that are profiting off of their misfortune.
I miss the times when people could disagree and have differing opinions without be labeled to one side of the extreme or the other.
Politics aside… I did enjoy most of Ms. Marvel, especially the episodes that Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy directed.
I am rooting for this movie to do well. Rey has so much potential as a character, and I can see Sharmeen’s background as a director being one of the reasons why she was chosen to helm this film.
I just wish they would give more attention to that instead of clickbait articles designed to cause arguments.
Quantumania was always doomed to fail, my argument was that if Lilly wasn’t an anti-vax nut, you could expect tons more marketing around her character.
When it comes to female directors though… Bryce Dallas Howard deserves more attention from the higher ups at Disney. She has directed some of my favorite and the more fun episodes of Mando, and I love to see her tackle a Star Wars film someday. I guess my frustration comes from the fact that Disney appears to actively seek those that like to stir the pot and draw attention to social issues rather than those who are actually excited about being there for the sake of Star Wars. I was very excited to see Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron announced, and I had a lot of fun with Chow’s Obi-Wan series.
I guess the point I am getting at is, I’d rather have fun watching the movie and be excited to hear from enthusiastic creators, rather than seeing dumb debates that are crafted by corporations to divide people.
